it was a holy paradise. legendary. tales of it passed down throughout generations over and over again. supposedly contained a rare massive gemstone called the cintamani stone: wish fulfilling jewel. anything you wanted so long as you were the person possessing it

the yetis werent animals. they were humans. guardians. immortal guardians. they kept the heart of shambhalas power safe

That sounds similar to some of the legends told in my world. Only it had ghouls and the like instead of yetis.

not surprising. the tree of life seems to be something of an oddly common thing across universes

which was the truth of the cintamani stone: it was just sap from the tree of life. granted immortality but...

itd turn you into one of those things eventually. wasnt a bloody gift it was a curse

The tree of life exists where I am from as well. Though I do not know much about it, save for a few stories my mother told me when I was young. It is connected more to the Elves than to my kind.
