[It goes without saying that she cares, which is good, because Chloe isn't at all good at saying she cares. This is as much of an effort as she's capable of making aside from the suggestion of running away to a warm beach somewhere, and unfortunately, this world doesn't have any.]

But hey at least Elena knows what the bastard looks like now, she knows who to avoid like the plague, and well she's the careful one; the one unlikely to hunt Talbot down and do something stupid.
